On 09.06.2016, the daily newspaper "Utrinski vesnik", on page 19, published the Intention for takeover of Makpetrol AD Skopje by Balkan Petroleum Holding Limited of London, UK, at a price of 25. 908 MKD per share, given by proxy holder Petar Stojanovski. In the announcement it is stated that the Intention for takeover is made pursuant to Article 22 paragraph 1 of the Takeover Law.

Notification letter with the same content was submitted to the Macedonian Stock Exchange. In order to proceed pursuant to the Takeover Law, but also taking into consideration that the relevant proxy for the proxy holder to act on behalf of Balkan Petroleum Holding Limited was not enclosed to the notification letter, Macedonian Stock Exchange inform the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Republic of Macedonia about it.
