Macedonian Stock Exchange held a General Meeting of shareholders on December 23, 2008 with an agenda of electing new members of the Board of directors.

 

The General Meeting elected three new members of the Board: Sonja Nikolovska, Gjorgji Palevski and Mihajlo Brova Zikov.

 

After the General Meeting new elected Board held a constitutive session and adopted several decisions. The Board of directors will continue with its work in the next four years in the following structure:

 

Kiril Mitrovski, Director – Invest Broker AD Skopje

Sonja Nikolovska, Management board adviser – Stopanska banka AD Skopje

Gjorgji Palevski, Executive director – Postel broker AD Skopje

Mihajlo Brova Zikov, Director – Division for trading in securities - Komercijalna banka AD Skopje

Goran Anastasovski, CEO – Cliring house KIBS AD Skopje (Independent member)

Jane Miljovski, PhD, Rector - New York University Skopje (Independent member)

Kristijan Polenak, Managing partner – Law firm Polenak (Independent member)

Ivan Steriev, CEO – Macedonian Stock Exchange (Executive member)

Elena Jakimovska Petrovska, Executive Officer – Macedonian Stock Exchange (Executive member)

 

Kristijan Polenak was elected as a President of the Board.

 

New elected Board of directors of MSE will continue to operate efficiently towards future development of the Macedonian capital market based on the principles of continuity, stability and transparency.
