Darko Sazdov is an esteemed member of the Council of Experts at the Agency for Supervision of Fully Funded Pension Insurance (MAPAS). His academic background includes a degree in economics from the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Skopje, earned in the year 2000. He specialized in Business Economics with a focus on Financial and Accounting Management.
Darko has amassed a wealth of professional experience over the years. He began his career from 2000 to 2003 at PEKABESCO AD Skopje, where he served as an assistant to the finance and accounting managers. From 2003 to 2006, he advanced to the role of finance and accounting manager at MANOR DOOEL Skopje.
Since 2006, Darko has been a pivotal figure at MAPAS, holding various significant roles. His tenure includes positions such as Professional Associate for Property Custodian and Foreign Asset Manager, Head of the Financial Control Department, Head of the Control Department, and eventually assuming leadership as the Head of the Financial Department control. Darko Dedikj, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Winner Life – Vienna Insurance Group, has built a distinguished career marked by expertise in finance and leadership. He earned his higher education at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, specializing in Banking and Accounting.
During his studies, Darko demonstrated his ambition by obtaining a License from the Securities and Exchange Commission to work with securities. His professional journey began with notable experiences, starting at the Non-Governmental Organization Médecins Sans Frontières, coinciding with the organization's receipt of the Nobel Peace Prize.
Darko's career progressed through various significant roles. He contributed to Audit House B and LJ in Skopje, where he focused on auditing financial statements and implementing internal policies and procedures. He later joined Alfa Bank Skopje as a professional associate in the financial operations department, subsequently becoming head of the accounting and controlling service at Eurostandard Bank Skopje.
Since 2010, Darko Dedikj has been integral to the Insurance Supervision Agency, initially serving as head of the supervision department. His exceptional performance led to his appointment to the Management Board of Winner Life – Vienna Insurance Group, where he continues to excel.
In 2012, Darko was elected as a member of the Council for the Advancement and Development of the Audit, although his focus shifted upon assuming his role on the Management Board of Winner Life – Vienna Insurance Group. Ivana Gažić

Graduated in Finance from the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Zagreb in 1997 and gained the Executive MBA degree from the International Executive Development Center Bled (Slovenia) in 2001. She also holds the investment advisor license. Ivana is currently a PhD student of communication and author of several papers on investor relations.
She gained wide professional experience working for leading Croatian companies and financial institutions.
Ivana started her career in 1998 at Pliva Plc. where she served until 2003 as a Head of Capital Market Operations. Since 2003 till 2005 she worked at Lura Plc. as a Head of strategic financing project and the assistant to CEO.
In 2005 Ivana joined Société Générale - Splitska Bank Plc. where she worked as a Deputy Head of Corporate Department and a Head of Structure Finance Department. In 2007 she continued her career in Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank Plc. taking the position of Executive Director in the Investment Banking Unit responsible for financial markets, private banking, corporate finance, asset management and investment funds.
Since May 2010 she is the President of the Management Board of Zagreb Stock Exchange.
She is a President of the Supervisory Board of the SEE LINK Skopje, legal entity founded in 2014 with the aim to establish regional order routing service between Bulgaria, Macedonia and the Zagreb Stock Exchange. Following the acquisition of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange in late 2015, she is also the president of its Supervisory Board. She is a member of the Supervisory board of the company Pan Pek Ltd. as of December 2020 and a member of the Board of Directors of the Macedonian Stock Exchange as of May 2021.
Over the years Ivana improved her knowledge through various professional seminars on banking and capital markets. She was a speaker, lecturer and participant in numerous conferences and professional gatherings on the subject of banking, finance and capital markets.

Radu Hanga is the Chairman of the Board of Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) since 2020. Prior, between 2017 and 2020, he was member of BVBs’ Board of Governors. From 2020 until 2022, he was also a member of the Executive Committee of the Association of Asset Managers in Romania (AAF). Before, between 2015 and 2020, Mr. Hanga was President of AAF. He has an extensive experience in the financial markets and followed the Strategy Execution Programme (INSEAD), the MBA Program (IDE), postgraduate studies in Business Administration (European Institute for Business Administration UBB), specialization in International Financial System (IBR in partnership with Chartered Institute of Bankers Scotland), Erasmus Program (University of East London).
Mr. Hanga started his career in the financial markets in 1997, as analyst at the brokerage company SSIF Broker (BRK), and in 1999 he joined Banca Transilvania’s team (TLV), as Capital market officer (1999 - 2002). He held more positions in Banca Transilvania group of companies, among which Vice-President of the Board of Directors of BT Securities (2001-2005), Head of Capital Market Department at Banca Transilvania (2002-2013), CEO of SAI BT Asset Management (2005-2013), Strategy Executive Officer-Group Coordination of Banca Transilvania (2013-2017) and Senior Advisor for the Board of Directors of Banca Transilvania (2017-2020). Mr. Hanga was member of the Board of Directors of other listed companies such as Boromir Prod (2013 – 2017), SIF Moldova (2013 - 2017) and SIF Oltenia (2017 - 2020).

Maja Besevic Vlajo

Maja Bešević Vlajo, CFA, completed her finance studies at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management in 2007. She obtained her CFA charter in 2015 and is currently in the final year of her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Ljubljana. She is a licenced broker, investment advisor and pension fund manager.
Maja worked as an analyst at Abacus Brokers, an investment company. After a few years, she moved to Podravska Banka as a portfolio manager, where she was responsible for investments in domestic and international equity trading.
In 2014, she joined the management board of the investment company N3 Capital Partners, where she worked in asset management and management consulting. During her time there, she was involved in the takeover of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange by the Zagreb Stock Exchange. In 2017, she became a member of the Supervisory Board of Croatian Central Depositry and Clearing Company. Since 2019, she has been Executive Director for Development and Investment Banking at Podravska Banka.
Additionally, Maja has been a member of the Board of the CFA Society Croatia since 2018 and was elected president of the Society in 2021.
Since 2019, Maja has been teaching MBA program 'Finance and Banking' at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, and she became a lecturer in 2021.
Nikolay Vassilev

Nikolay Vassilev has been Managing Partner of Expat Capital since 2009.
Nikolay Vassilev was a member of two governments of the Republic of Bulgaria, serving as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy (2001-2003), Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications (2003-2005), and Minister of State Administration and Administrative Reform (2005-2009).
Previously, Nikolay Vassilev was Senior Vice President at Lazard Capital Markets – London (2000-2001), and Associate Director at UBS (UBS Warburg Dillon Read) in the Tokyo, New York, and London offices (1996-2000), working in the area of equities and emerging markets. He was also a tax adviser at Coopers & Lybrand in Budapest, Hungary (1993-1994).
Nikolay Vassilev holds a Master of Arts degree in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University, USA (1997) with an exchange program at Keio University (Tokyo, Japan), as well as two Bachelor's degrees from the State University of New York, USA (1995) and the Budapest University of Economic Sciences, Hungary (1994), and has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder since 1999. He speaks English, Hungarian, and Russian and has basic knowledge of French, German, and Japanese.
Nikolay Vassilev was elected President of the Bulgarian CFA Association in November 2023.
He is the author of three books – “Energy” (2009), “Menu for Reformers” (2014), “Career or Not?” (2018), and 'NEXT.BG' (2023).

Rade Rakocevic

He was born in 1971, graduated and mastered at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade, and then obtained the title of Doctor of Political Sciences at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade.
His business career began at Credibel Bank (1994-1996), and continued as deputy director at the broker-dealer house M&V Investments (1996-2000).
In 2000, he founded his own broker-dealer house, Senzal a.d. Belgrade.
Under his leadership, Senzal became a regional leader with a turnover of over EUR 1 billion and cooperation with leading foreign investment funds. Senzal was sold to KBC Securities for 20 million euros in 2007.
Today, as the owner and director of Senzal Capital, Rade runs his family office and manages a portfolio that includes shares of global companies, real estate, cryptocurrencies, and invests in private and startup companies.
At the same time, he promotes financial literacy, which for him is 'a matter of general culture'.
Rade is a co-founder and member of the Board of Directors of the Serbian Association of Managers, a member of the Board of Directors of the Belgrade Open School, the founder of the American football club Novi Beograd Orlovi and the selector of the flag football team of Serbia.

At PwC, Ewelina is an integral part of a specialized team focused on business succession. Robert has been a passionate supporter of diversity, equity and inclusion throughout his 40 plus year consulting career. He is a Board member of European Women on Boards, responsible for D&I Strategy, and is a Trustee of UN Women, UK. Robert is Disrupter in Residence in DE&I on the Global MBA Program at EDHEC Business School and also a visiting lecturer on Male Allyship at the University of Amsterdam Academy.
