Presentation results of the Second surveys on web sites of leading Macedonian listed companies

On May 19, 2009 in hotel “Karpos” – Skopje Macedonian Stock Exchange presented the results of the Second surveys on web sites of leading Macedonian listed companies were. These Surveys are the project of MSE supported by Partners for Financial Stability Program, USAID Business Environment Activity in Macedonia and IFC Corporate Governance Project.

The purpose of these Surveys is to determine if the companies provide appropriate information to potential investors and appropriate information about their corporate social responsibilities (Corporate Governance, Environmental Policy and Social Policy).

Mr. Geoffrey Mazullo, Director of PFS Program had a presentation comparing the data from the top ten Macedonian listed companies with peers in Bulgaria, Croatia and Romania. Ms. Vesna Ilic Ljusic, representative from the Belgrade Stock Exchange presented the results of the BELEX surveys on top 10 traded companies on the Stock Exchange and Belex15 components.

During the event Ms. Janka Dimitorva from the brokerage house Ideja Plus Broker Radovis presented the results of the research paper for possibility of mobilization of the capital in the Republic of Macedonia by IPO.
